The right amount of spooky 🎃
On my last update I was in the middle of my first crazy pandemic project. I was making 100 drawings on wood for 100 consecutive days. They were first posted exclusively for my supporters on Patreon but I've since made them available to everyone on my big cartel store. So if you can, take a look and treat yourself or someone else with an original drawing, there are still a few left.
I feel like this project went quite well, I did a lot of writing and a few interesting characters emerged the way they like to do when you draw consistently for a period of time. It really kept me focused at the beginning of the pandemic and in a weird way it also kept me sane.Â
A couple of those characters re-emerged for my annual Gothtober contribution. This year I made a one sheet of paper folding zine with some pop-up mechanics. You can download a printable PDF and make your own, there is a 3 minute how to video you can watch if you go to gothtober.com and click on day 21.Â
There is a longer post about the design process here if you are curious.
I hope your halloween was just the right amount of spooky, and I hope you are staying safe. Thank you so much for reading!
Federico :)
